Very nice water cleaner. Ad a few programmable LED's and it would be ultimate (clean water tank, dispencer area for in the dark)

Great value for price. The biggest gripe is that while it's not loud, it is noisy in the sense that it pretty constantly makes noise even when the pure water container is full. If it took a break from time to time I'd give this 5 stars.

Perfect water - could & warm.

The water is tasty and my heart sings every time I fill a glass and realise that I don't use plastic bottles anymore. We use municipal water on the Greek islands and it has made it delicious and drinkable whereas it was not good enough before and gave people a bad stomach.

The "cold" water function that is sold to you with all the icy symbols making you think that it's going to be super nice and fridge level cold, is actually at about 13-15c. This is adequately cold and is fairly refreshing but it's not really as cold as you might expect from the marketing. But it's ok. It's actually better for your stomach, just don't expect icy water on tap.

The hot water on demand is mostly great although a little bit slow and noisy, which is not a problem most of the time. Filling a pot of tea is bit tricky for example, also because you can't get a teapot under the spout, so you end up decanting hot water slowly into the pot. Just a bit clumsy. Filling a Cafetiere (french press) is manageable and that's pretty much all I use it for, beyond the odd quick mug of tea which is dispatched from a great and splashy height!

Now... I live mostly off grid and was very curious about the power consumption of this device. It was not clear online how much it might use on a daily or hourly basis. When it is cooling water (almost constantly) it is using 60w of energy, makes a gentle noise and pumps out warm air from the back. If you hit the hot water button, it goes to 2200w for the duration of hot water dispatch which is about the same as a kettle but takes much less time.

The big surprise about this device was the noise that it makes most of the time and also pumping out warm air from the back. It cannot be placed directly up against a wall, as it requires 20cm of clearance at the back in order to adequately cool itself.

It's not a huge device and it does looks nice in the kitchen but this noise is a little irritating at times and the power consumption seems a little excessive. We are lucky we have deep kitchen counter tops because in my previous house, I would not have had space to allow 20cm behind the machine.

The screen and menu options are JUST adequate. It would be good to have more than 1 favourite setting. At least 1 hot favourite and 1 cold favourite would be nice. It would also be good to have a power/noise saving mode. Seems lazy in this day and age to have such a basic operation with so much technology at our fingertips.

Generally, I love it.... but it's not perfect and I hope these details help you with your decision making!

Just a few days and satisfied, TDS only 2, very good. This saves a lot on filters I used for passive filter system from ZeroWater. Hot or cold water immediately, no waiting time.
